We are taking steps to stop the spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus.


Changes to our check-in process
We recommend booking your accommodation ahead of your arrival.

On the day of your check-in, we will contact you and arrange for the payment of any balance due on your accommodation by credit card over the phone.  We are not accepting cash at this time due to the current COVID-19 situation.

Note, where arrangements have been made ahead of your arrival to charge a company card, payment will not be required at this time.

If you would like a continental breakfast supplied to the room, we would ask that you place your order at this time, and we will prepare your breakfast tray and drop into your room before your arrival.

Assistance during your stay
If you require anything during your stay, please contact us via the bedside telephone in your room.  Simply pickup the handset and press ‘Reception’.

In rare situations, we may be required to leave the property.  If we are expecting to be away for an extended period of time, we will leave a mobile contact number posted outside the Reception door.


Jumbucks Restaurant


Conveniently located onsite at the Burra Motor Inn, our well-reviewed Jumbucks Restaurant is a warm & inviting space that opens up onto a lawned outdoor area looking out across the Burra Creek. Admire the Rail Memorabilia and Australiana whilst you wine & dine in an intimate setting with locally sourced food & wine.

Jumbucks Restaurant is preparing meals for dine in and take away from 6:00pm until 7:30pm, weeknights (excluding public holidays).  Our menus are accessible at the bottom of this page.

We are accepting Take Away and ‘In Room’ orders with credit card payment over the phone from 6pm on (08) 8892 2777, or by picking up the bedside telephone and pressing the ‘Jumbucks’ speed dial.  Orders can also be placed online at orders.burramotorinn.com.au.

Bookings are essential if you wish to Dine In. To comply with the current government restrictions due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic, we currently have a seating capacity of a maximum 10 patrons (18 patrons from Monday, 1st June, 2020).
